Early on Christmas morning, I spotted a Pipit in the Oak tree warming in the early morning sun, so I grabbed a shot.
Would have been a much better photo if it weren't for the the shadow falling across it's neck.
This little fox hangs around the pit. Not the best shot but turned out better than expected considering it was taken at 2:50am with phone and grader lights for illumination.
They are everywhere here. Cannot drive down the street without seeing one. I thought Florida had the most alligators, but through some research I found that Louisiana has the largest wild population of gators in the US.
