The white tailed deer in the park where I regularly walk are now so tame they just look at you real stupid when you walk by just 5 meters away. Hmmmm...venison. Cell phone pic.

Did not have my DSLR with zoom lens readily available, but here is 3 moose I saw today in the Rocky Mountain National Park.

The last pics are of some Marmots up at an elevation of about 12,000 ft.

This bear obliged us by walking up to the car to about 20' away.

He came barrelling out of the bush as I came around the corner in the background, forcing me to brake and swerve. He was kind enough to stick around for a minute or so

Thanks guys. Saw six tonight but only this guy hung around long enough. Also saw a cow elk who bolted as soon as I got out of the car

Pretty boring after the moose and the wife wanted to turn around early but I said we'll go to our usual turn around spot and I'm glad we did. How close can you get to a bear? I've photographed this guy before, he has a white blaze on his chest We stopped about 50 feet away from him. I had a weird feeling about him as he didn't flinch when we stopped. I told the missus that we should take pictures from behind open doors...

....he started walking towards the car and we got in and closed the doors....

....he came to my side first and the jerk started chewing on my door mirror

I couldn't get good shots as I had my long lens on but he obliged and went over to the wife's side and she used her phone....

We let him be and carried on to our turn around spot and as we were coming back we saw that he was still there so we got on to his side of the road again and the wife took this

Obviously someone's been feeding him. Not good.

My thoughts as well. The ski hill is about 2 kilometres away so it may be hitting there too

took a camera out this morning on the dog's morning walk, not much at the local business park gardens these days since local kids are now using it to make a nuisance of themselves !
