There are a few different kinds of bourbon whiskey. Makers Mark is an excellent bourbon made a little differently from the others. A connoisseur favorite. Wild Turkey is a traditional distillation and the one that I prefer. If you like an ice cube or two, try Wild Turkey 101. It's 101 proof as opposed to the more easily found 80 proof.
The Japanese have an excellent version made with re-used bourbon casks. Proper American bourbon uses a cask only once in its manufacture.
If you are a fan of the movie Bad Santa or not interested in impressing anyone, try Old Grandad.
