Hello again friends and teachers of static modeling. :salute:
As you know I finished my Nakajima and I'm in the final stage of my P-47 ... HOWEVER much time with my old pattern of Monogram ... I feel the need to let him breathe for a while. :pale:
Of shopping accumulated and new kits...
Otaki represents the model of the canopy version ki-type 5 100ib hunting, Otsu Ki-100-1. They were issued with two different representations, both from the same kit (one called the plane of the Ki-100 "Goshiki"). Arii who later took over from Otaki, issued the same Ki-100 kit "Goshikisen,"...
Finally finished a kit that I started for a group build two years ago. Here is one pic. If you care to see the build, I posted more pics of the completed kit in the build thread here: http://www.ww2aircraft.net/forum/-18-heavy-hitters-ii/1-48-sbd-5-dauntless-heavy-hitters-ii-gb-37512-5.html#top
Hi everybody,
I left home all my w.i.p. models and here in my holiday place I started a new adventure.
The kit is the new Fw from Revell and my goal is to try to replicate this bird "weiis 11"
better seen here:
I also provided the resin cockpit made by Eduard/Brassin that...
Hi All,
Well I "finished" my GTO model although truth be told I could have taken it further with the details (especially on the grill area and wheels). This kit to be blunt is poor. Fit in spots is a nightmare for a novice and the flash is EVERYWHERE. I didn't quite realize how terrible...

I build them nevertheless...

Kit: HiPM P-51H Mustang
Scale: 1/48th
Accessories: Bit of scratched built details. Kit includes PE parts.
Finished at last. This HiPM kit was a bit of a challenge but it turned out alright in the end.
Another one from the cabinet. Build many moons ago. THis kit was bought at a model show simply because I never saw the "S" variant of the Ju 88 before. After purchasing some refference books, I soon realized how bad this Hobbycraft kit is.
I won't go into the details, but there is a LOT wrong...

I hope nobody minds a late addition to this fantastic GB. I plan...
I built a Frog Me 163 qbout 35 years ago and it was dreadfull, I think it only had about 6 parts. This kit is great and has the added bonus of a ground handling machine. Bonus's are always good but after doing a bit of research on the Schlepper it turns outthe kit version is very inaccurate and...
I build this conversion a long time ago. It was based on an old german made conversion set to be used with the acient Hawk P-47.
I used the monogram P-47 D as a donor and worked the crude vacu conversion kit arround it.
But as far as I know, there is no full kit of the P-47 H that I know of...
Always wanted a Korean War Skyraider, but it seems impossible to find any backdating 1/48 sets for the Tamiya kit, which made me think about Trumpeter's 1/32 AD-4 variant, is it a good kit, been watching the videos, but I don't recall anyone mentioned if it had or didn't have the armour moulded...
