Thanks guys

How'd you go about removing the rudder?

Revell made this one easy in that they cut the recess of the rudder very deep in the plastic and then reinforced it on the inside. All I had to do was remove the reinforcing and the rudder popped out with a few passes of a sharp knife aling the recess.

Nicely done Andy, busy little place that cockpit.

Thanks Vic. It'll get busier yet with the addition of a compass up front, roll cage, armour plate, as well as the remote barbette controls in the rear.

Wow Andy!! Some nice work on the pit Sir :thumbright: I just went through most of the thread looking at the pics and I think it is safe to say most are glad you are a judge only :)

Thanks Kevin. Wish I could keep motivated on this one. The weather is too nice to be inside right now!

I know what you mean Andy just hot down here!I went fishing yesterday morning good tide range water slick as glass "oh yeah" nothing!!!!should of slept in.Well I am sure it will come together before the end comes if not no biggee.

Yeah, it's tough in the Summer. I'm stuck on filling/sanding as well, and it's not the sort of job to get motivated on easily. All my work now is late afternoon, evenings. Looking forward to some more progress, from you, soon.

Thanks Gerry. The fuselage sanding and scribing is done, awaiting the wrap around glazing in the nose. Recent work has invovled fitting the CMK resin wheel wells which is turning out to be a real challenge. Will try to post some pics soon.
