Good morning lads, I had some free time so.... new episode...

I placed the metallic bases for the bottom radios (they are from Part, painted with Citadel Bolt gun metal)

After that and before continuing with the radios, the pilot's seat and the stick took their places...

Starting with the radios...

How they are going to look like with the fuselage closed...

The gunner's compartment floor...

And i added the final details...

An overall view...

Thats all for now my friends, on the next episode i hope to have the fuselage closed. But before that have to review everything in order not to forget anything out!!!!

Good evening guys, i am slow but steady. A little update, i managed to close the fuselage and i was pretty happy with the fit of the 2 halves. I used CA to fill the gaps and for sanding as well as superfine milliput. You can also see the amazing canopy trails from part!! like the true ones only in 1/48 scale.

I also glued in place the rear wheel. If you remember i shortened it because the kit depict it to in flight condition. Here also milliput was used and because i sanded down all the rivets i replaced them with Archer ones.

Here you can see the antenna's attachment points...

I used part details PE to replicate the two flaps from where the air from the oil cooler was exited. Pretty amazing detail!!!
The real one..

And the one from Part...

I continued with the upper raw of the avionics boxes. I have to remind you that i am building a -4Ε model which carried the AN/APS-4 RADAR POD so i had to make the small radar screen for the rear pilot. I have also build a telegraph key, it seems good, dont you think?

Another small detail, a floodlight...

Some detail from Eduard into the bomb bay and i have also assembled and painted Mk.VIII Gunsight from Quickboost.

That's all for now, thanks for watching...

Good morning guys and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.
New year has come so i thought to post something new myself also. So a little progress with the ''beast''!!!
I placed inside the fuselage the gunners seat and machine gun tower in a way that it can move up and down

Following that i made the life-raft and its tube. Here i combined the eduard PE for the tube, the excellent PE from part for the mechanism and alunimium tape for the raft.

Unpainted...

And painted...

Next it was time to deal with the machine guns and its gun mount adapter MARK II MOD3. I did not like what kit was giving me so decided to modify it.
Here is the beginning...so small ad 15 pieces!!!

The reflector sight...

the junction box...

the feed unit of the gun combining eduard PE and and scratch chute and roller unit...

Here are the guns painted with Master barrels on (i forgot to take a pic)...

And the start of the assembling process...You can also see some data plates, i used some scrap part from Waldron sets.

And here finished, prewash state...

I tried to line up the reflector sight the ringsight and the fore post...

Here is the original for comparing reasons...

And after the wash...

...and dry fitted into its place

Hope you like it

Lordy, lordy. The innards look fantastic John. I'm just gonna keep my half done model in the box for now.(Fit problems with the interior. Haven't quite figured out where I screwed up.)
