Ok, Ok. It is manufactured by a company called Steck Manufacturing Company, Inc. Address is 1115 South Broadway, Dayton, Ohio, 45408. It is called A Nib File, Part#35250. And it runs about $20.oo. Here are some shots of it. Works rather well to, needs to be just about half the size though.

Vic, it works just like a regular file. It is designed to remove runs in clearcoat and is designed not to gouge or dig in. On this Spitfire I am building at the moment it is cast in two different types of plastic. First time I have run into this. The wings are REALLY soft. Probably because you have to cut them but not sure. Anyway, the Nib file works very well on the softer plastic. It will work on the harder stuff to but takes a little longer. I am debating on wether or not to cut it in half to make it some what easier to use. It's just a little large. The finish work is very minimal after your done with the file to. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions. If I have the answers I will share away.

hey Brooks i have one but finer, never thought of using it for that i only use mine for dirt nibs.
