Cheers Glenn, all done now and am a little happier with the outcome and doesn't look too bad on my Spitfire shelf.

just about done, i say that as i now notice i have not added the serial number and the red gun port patches though going buy a couple of pictures i have seen of other desert spits the gun patches were not always there !
