Hi y'all,
I've been on this forum for a while and started having a lot of free time over the summer, so I finally bit the bullet and decided to try building model kits in real life after years of making liveries and 3d models.
Previous attempts/Not super relevant stuff
Now, this isn't...
Hello all, I've just joined although I am no longer a plastic modeller. I did start a long time ago when Airfix first brought out the Spitfire in a poly bag with a folded card at the top, I bought my first one from Woolworths for 2 shillings ( 10p in new money).
My reason for joining is that I...
Good Afternoon, All,

Hi Guys,
I'm not much of a modeller and until recently I have not spent much time at all in the last 20 years making models. When I was a teenager, like the rest of you I suspect, I had model planes all over the place, but my modelling got to a certain level and has been there ever since. I...

Hi folks,
Here's my first foray into transport aircraft builds. It's an old Airfix mould kit circa 1960, yup, a kit which was around even before most of us were here. It was re-issued by Airfix a few years back and sad to say was not updated accordingly. Besides from the propeller options...

Finally got this one underway after finding very little freetime of late. I've started the detail painting and hopefully will get the fuselage etc together tonight. I thought I'd include a pilot figure for a change and I'm quite pleased with the results so far. I realise that a 1950's RN Seafire...
