Kit floor sits way too high in the cockpit. The Kranich was deliberately designed with a deepened fuselage and lower floor to enable fitting of seat type parachutes.
Filed the cockpit rear to shape, square cutting the rib slots (initial triangular file cut in above pics) and working on the rudder pedal slots.

Looks like shite in the pic too. If I can get some proper sheet styrene from somewhere, may redo the lot, not that anything will be seen in the end...
These are made from a margarine container lid and a plastic name tag - not the best plastics to work with!
Note:
slots for rear cockpit rudder pedals won't be cut, as whole area was gutted to make room for the fuel drum - no details will be visible here when in position. Most lower rear fuselage frames have been omitted for same reason, and for fit!
