Such a great looking paint scheme! You've done an incredible job at replicating the white-wash winter camo.

And sorry for the break, been getting pummelled at work
. The spinners were masked and the tips painted a custom mix of patina green. Once dry, the worn whitewash effect on the spinners was created in the same way as the nacelles using Mig Washable White and the props and spinners attached.
Canopies were unmasked and the nose bubble and machine gun and dorsal turret and canopy installed. The sliding door above the pilot's seat was removed from its temporary closed masking position and installed in the open position and the side windows and machine guns installed.
Just remains to put her on her legs and rig the antenna and other bits and pieces. The landing gear was weathered with a dark oil wash and Mig pigments bulked up with a bit of white glue here and there to represent mud.

Thanks for the comments as always guys. Apologies for the lengthy break between updates, I've been very busy and had to find time to make some repairs to damage caused by the (almost former) family cat before final pics.
Anyway, without further ado, a small hole was drilled in the top of the tail fin and a small length of plastic rod inserted to represent the antenna mast. Remember this is 1/72 so it was a bit fiddly
. The antenna was then rigged with EZ-line and insulators represented with Kristal Klear painted black.
Landing gear and bay doors were then installed along with the ventral gondola end clear parts with machine guns. You can just see on the waist machine gun that I have drilled out the barrels which was a hold your breath moment in 1/72!
And with the addition of some final delicate parts such as the pitot tube and cockpit door mirror she's done! A few shots of Kuhlmey's trusty transport:
And a totally gratuitous final shot as I'm happy to say she pulled off a win in the small scale category at Model Expo!
