Thanks Karl...got to give it a good rub down with fine grit sandpaper to remove extra paint, lumps, bumps, wumps, thumps, etc.

I was struggling with it and was about to use the Tamiya can you can see in one photo but I got the hang of it at last and I can use the Tamiya can later.

Can anyone tell me if the P-51B had the same wooden floor as the P-51D or was it Interior Green?

Not sure about the Bs or Cs but the Allison engined Mustangs had green chromite painted aluminum with the rivets showing
