Always thought of Albatros as WW1 equivalent of Messerschmitt Bf 109. It's my favorite WW1 bird and this is really great model of it.

The Sopwith Pup model is nice too. :)

Not up on my WWI planes but you're right, it does look strange. The reversed stagger looks odd and the upper wing looks exactly the same as the lower ones. Is it supposed to look that way?
 
Must be intended to confuse the enemy, make 'em think it's going in the opposite direction!
Nicely done though.
