I wanna do a 1/48th Hobby Boss LCM-6. 8 feet added to the length of an LCM-3. I was coxwain on one in San Diego for a time. 56' long, 56,000 pounds, twin Grey Marine diesels. It was fun.

I have to say that while I don't like the colors, the rock base is wonderful and certainly original.

That rock base looks weird to me, are both of them sitting on top, or am I missing the depth of the piece?

Yes, it's a bit confusing. I guess it needs to be seen in 'real life', and know the story behind it.
