The Breda Ba88 Lince (Lynx) has to be the worst plane of the war. Prototype aircraft set range and speed records prewar but production aircraft could barely get off the ground.

The design is unusual I think it looks like it is upside down, perhaps the designers turned the blueprints upside down to work on something and forgot to tell the factory to turn them back the right way.

This is the MPM 1/72 kit, I really like the MPM kits they make up nice unusual models with some hard modelling work they're not shake n bake kits. The sprues have some flash but in general the details are nice and crisp though the clear parts never seem to fit. Instructions can leave you scratching your head as to parts fit you need to work it out yourself.

This turning out to be quite an awkward customer. The wing lower sections just didn't want to fit and needed quite a bit of reshaping with files and emery board. Also didn't help that I got myself back to front and fitted the tail upside down.

The engine moulding is a bit ropey I debated buying some resin engines but decided to fit some pushrod tubes to improve the look.
