Back in the day, I remember taking a tape recorder and recording certain lines from Frank Zappas' Joe's Garage album.... Short recordings such as:

"Why does it hurt when I pee..."
"I got it from the toilet set..."

Then we'd crank call someone, in the days before caller ID of course, and play back our little recordings, giggle and hang up...

Boy what fun.... That was crank calling at its finest....
