Went and did some more driving today first time I have had this week off.The highest reg# I saw was #8251 so another record year looks to go down in the books. The beaches are packed with vehicles from the 20's/80's vacant lots along Hyw90 due to Katrina are used for RV camping 26 miles worth.I took some pics of that but unless you see it for yourself is quite unbelievable we probably have 30/40K extra people living on the coast this week we locals eat at home this week.A few pics...

You will see I like Ford and Chrysler for the most part

I had one of these in my early 20's Blue with the blue laser stripe 429cid shaker,4sp close ratio racing top loader with a 9"370 posi

Man, those bring back memories, thanks for posting!
It's been neat david to have the time off instead having to rely on them coming through the shop I work auto retail.I have Pics of three of the locals that were tagging together as they came through the gate should of jumped in the blue stang and made a day of it.

Earl's car it rumbles

Phil's 74/75 Cougar built as a 351CJ I bought my 1970GT Torino from him back in 1982.

Tim's Stang been working it over for about 5 years to get to this point.

Nice pics. Where was this located? Looks like down near Biloxi, or somewhere near that area.
You are correct Chris this was at Edgewater Mall I am going to venture maybe 12K cars this year that's just the registered ones. This happens every year at the same time of the month every year more and more show up auction at the Coliseum Sunday.I was looking for it to get a pic but their's a Red Flyer Wagon done up it's like 20' long adults sitting in the back and even has the pull handle out front.,it looks real Kevin

You're not but a couple hrs out Chris goes on till Sunday and it's like Mardi Gras on 90 people line up in chairs having drinks cooking out just watching and of course the few burnouts

I'm about 15 hours out now...

I took a job with Boeing, and we moved up to the St. Louis area in July.

Just a tidbit of info if interested 8,620 cars registered this about 250 up from last year but this year we came in #2 Nationwide(largest) last year we were #1 I guess Las Vegas grabbed #1 this year. The traffic was just unbelievable there was a section down on 90 across from Treasure Bay Casino that had maybe 5/6 Lamborghini's and a slew of Corvettes these are not registered just coming to show theirs and see others.I think it can be said this overall was the highest attendance people wise ever I never enjoyed it so much. Kevin
