Awesome. And B17, you gotta try to paint 'em man. Nobody is going to goof on you. The two best model makers, Wurger and Wayne, have both given kudos to other beginners. And wrt everyone else, they don't matter, right?!

As soon as I post the rest of the pictures tommorow I will need help on starting the whole project...like would anyone have pictures of when they were in the process of building a diorama

I saw Muller's which looks great btw....but I want to make a flat land scene like a little skirmish on an open field or something

Alrighty here are the photos

I think I may only use 50 at the most soldiers in my diorama (50 Axis,50 ALiies) at the most and 25 each at the least

The halftrack and Howitzer are purposley damaged

B17, if you are taking pics with a digital camera, set it in macro mode, my camera has a flower symbol for doing this and taking close up photos. This gives your close up pics much more detail. Save them to your computer, open with MS paint. Click on Image on the toolbar, click on Resize/Skew (2nd option down) then you can resize the horizontal and vertical size of the pic. Use the same percentage values for both, you can reduce it as small as you want. Even reducing it by 50% makes a big difference in file size.

Regarding your builds, please take this as constructive criticism. :) I'm guessing you are not thinking about painting them. You really need to paint your figures and vehicles. No matter how good your dio comes out, it won't look any good with unpainted subjects.

Remember, we all had to start somewhere, and following advice from the great guys you meet on these modelling sites you'll be building great models in no time!

Ditto, Muller. Well said. Even with just a couple of different colors from the local WalMart will make a world of difference and at little expense.

I know they have Testors paints. Get

Olive Drab
Flat Tan
Flat Dark Grey
Flesh
Silver
Black

That alone will get you leaps and bounds better than just plain figures. Research your pieces. You can come up with other colors. You can find twigs and moss in the yard. Get a board. Spread Elmers Glue on it and sprinkle with sifted dirt from the yard. I bet you could get plaster of paris in the local hardware store. Or use what Muller used to put on your board for a little texture. Your imagination is your only boundary here.

Ok.....just wondering....some people say put them in warm water so I didn't know if anyone knew thats all but i'll try.....
