'Diver Bird' Supermarine Spitfire MkXIVc, RB167, DW-E, 610 (County of Chester) Squadron, Aux.A.F.

Here's the pictures of the finished model. For those who don't know, this 1/32nd scale model was built by cross - kitting the Hasegawa MkVI and Revell (ex-Matchbox) Mk22/24, and the full build is covered elsewhere.
The model represents an aircraft of 610 Squadron, whilst based at Friston, Sussex, between 2nd July and 12th September 1944, when the Squadron was involved in anti 'Diver' patrols, combatting the V1 'Doodlebug' flying bombs.
The base has a temporary edging of painted masking tape, which will be replaced in the near future with wood trim.
Hope you like it, and thanks for your interest.
Terry.
