After another steam treatment, and being taped for over 48 hours, the wings are pretty straight. Got the N-number and the race number do-it-yourself decals on. Waiting for the paint on the fuselage to dry. Pic's later today.

As promised, here are pic's of the fuselage of the Racer. Took the tape off today and did the necessary touching up. Will wait a day or two to put the louver decals on.

Just went through this whole thread Charles. Beautiful work!!! I did a few balsa models years and years ago but they didn't look anything like yours.
 
Came up with a brain storm, today for the canopy. The plans call for a three piece affair, but I came up with a one piece canopy, made from a piece of a strawberry container. The white piece of paper laying on the workboard is my pattern. Need to do some touching up and cleaning, but that will come after everything dries.
