The subject of this GB will be Boeing 314A "Dixie Clipper" NC18605 which was impressed into US Navy service during WWII. Though part of the Navy, the clipper fleet were manned by Pan Am crews and this particular clippers' claim to fame is being the aircraft which was used to fly Roosevelt to the Casablanca conference in January 1943.

The kit is fairly basic with an total of two steps in the instruction booklet. The biggest challenge for me will be the painting and decaling as my masking will have to be spot on to make the larger camo decals align spot on. All those little windows look like a real drag too . This is my first aircraft in 1/144 scale, so wish me luck!

Thanks guys! I've heard of that stuff Geo, might have to get me a bottle one of these days. Started on the kit last night, have assembled the tail planes and sponsons and painted the donks.
