Thanks for that..... was bored tonight so I painted the tops of the cockpit walls black, as I have found this was the scheme in the 5's. Then dry fit the interior. I'm gonna have to fiddle with the instrument panel as it tilts a little into the cockpit, but fit is pretty nice.

Dry fit of the rockets and mounts. They are just loosely place but I think they'll work okay!
I hope the barrels are in the mail today!!!!!

You're doing an excellent job Bill.

As to the rockets, I don't profess to be an expert but I did a little looking around on the net when I built my Avenger and found that most pics of the HVARs had the bodies in a light gray, the warheads in olive, and the tips a steel colour.

Paul, Cory thanks for that.... I hope some of what I post generates ideas for other to try and scratch..... opposed to psoriasis, scratching can be Fun........

Andy, I can only imagine I painted them all over green, because it's what I thought I saw somewhere.....
I've had about four weeks of turmoil around here. I'll be painting today!!!!!

****So how's this?????? Looks much better to me. Clear coat and decals. Bombs almost ready for paint. All over O.D.?????

Will be finishing off bombs today, now looking for a detail of the rack on the web.....
 
Ah, the local stuff will make you go blind. I like the cheap Canadian whiskey. It ain't smooth, it ain't mellow, but at least you won't go blind.
I'd go easy on the wear. You were on a carrier, so you know how tight things are.
