Last night I cut the knuckle on the small finger of my right hand to the bone (no not with a hobby knife, it was a tin can). I now have it in a splint to keep it from opening up so doing delicate work on the Goose is a struggle (the splint keeps getting in the way). At this point I only have the elevator balances to re-attach (that is it I can find one that went missing) and the props to put on so I should still be able to finish up. I hope to have the final thread posted by the end of the weekend.
 
Ouch!! Darn near cut my thumb off sharpening a knife years ago, then there was the box cutter I rammed into my thigh. TGF steri-strips

The fingers doing better although still in a splint so I don't re-open the cut. Never did find the missing elevator balance so I made another one. Put the Hamilton Standard decals on the props, a dark wash on the tail wheel and it was finished. Here's some pics. I'll get the Finished thread on as soon as I can.
