Sure does. That drop tank fit was fairly common for long-range escort in the ETO from the UK Aaron.

I was wondering about that Terry but the only literature I had found was that it was for ferrying use. Haven't decided yet but may do that tank set as I have not seen another done on a model.

Looking good Brooks. Shame about the seam. I find that using a thin liquid cement and pressing the parts together til the plastic oozes form the joint will guarantee a solid joint.

Just done well over 100 very tricky, misbehaving decals on the Tornado, so I know exactly how you feel Aaron!
Do a bit at a time, setting yourself a reachable target at each session, and it's then not too bad.
I tend to start on one side of the model, for example the port fuselage, and mark off each decal on the instruction sheet as it's applied. The repeat on the starboard side, then the top, bottom, port wing, starboard wing and so on. This makes it more acceptable to sit and fiddle, maybe for a couple of hours at a time, rather than one extremely long and tedious job, and marking them off ensures you know where you're up to when you start the next session.
Good luck !

I was thinking about doing that Terry. I am not good with decals. Not enough experience I suppose. I will get started on them this weekend. I did start painting parts on the Spitfire to. Will post photos on that thread when I get a chance. Thanks guys.

My hats off to those of you that can find the patience to apply all those tiny stencils, the finished product always looks better because of it!
Looking forward to seeing the picts!

Well..... the break was a bit longer than I wanted but thanks to Glenn I now know where all of these little bleeping decals go. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! Oh,...and thank you Glenn, getting this done slowly but steadily. I'll have pictures as soon as I have all these little buzzards in place. Got the sides of the fuselage covered in the little eye crossers. Hopefully get the wings and bottom of the fuselage done tomorrow.

I know Wayne, I keep checking my E-mails to. I am going to try to do the canopy open. Will be a first for me. Once I get done with all these decals it should go faster. I am doing decals as I type this. Between helping my dad with his computer stuff (and I thought I was computer illiterate) and trying to get stuff around the house done and my back is acting up again it is taking longer than I had anticipated but I am enjoying it immensely when I get the chance to work on it. It is taking shape and looking quite good for my second model.
