Finished the masking and sprayed the second shade of silver. It turned out more of a sheen difference than a color difference but still turned out OK

I've never read anything about it and its hard to find a picture of an "H" from above, but in these close-ups you can see some panel variation so I decided to go with the bare aluminum look.

I do like the way the NMF looks when it's done but it's a lot of work.

I did a sludge wash of black tempera to bring out the panel lines and give it a somewhat weathered look. The decals will be next.

The kit supplied decals went on beautifully. Nice and thin and settled onto the panel lines with a bit of setting solution.
