One of my favourite WW2 era planes is the Mustang. So here goes nothing...

The restored version:

I need to replace the prop to make it a K model hence the resin bit. I also have a set of resin exhausts kicking around somewhere.

Good one, should like great when done. Technically, you need to replace the canopy with a 'Dallas' hood too, but to be honest, it won't be noticed in this scale.

The Dallas hood comes as an option in the kit. Which was handy.

Past due for an update. I have been working on this slowly. Need to tidy up a few things. Wheel bays aren't the best - had trouble with ZC yellow and then I don't think the wash was entirely dry before I flat coated it. Anyhows....

Looking good so far. Note that the control column has been mounted the wrong way around though.
