Ok, Wayne, you slave driver you, 3 station Cockpit, pilot; R/O position; and rear radar operator. The big ugly stick-thingy is a "sighting device" or so say the instructions. The last 200 "B" versions had the 4- .50 machine gun turret restored. Apparently the original designed turret had caused buffeting when used and had been removed. Painted the turret "gloss black" and I like the look so far

Continued progress. Forgot to post pic of the whole opened kit. Interiors painted zinc chromate, only one engine to detail, nose wheel assembly ready, props painted.

Lookin mighty fine Mike............... great progress.

I would suggest using a flash, let the lamp provide light for focusing and I think the pictures will be more in focus.
Camera back a bit more and zoom in and the light will fill lots more.

Had a job yesterday but got some time in today. 20mm cannons installed, flight deck installed, turret installed, main fuselage halves put todether and nose wheel assembly in place. Plus all outer surfaces painted gloss black.

Terry , I think all is fine with the fuselage halves. Just all parts of the kit have been moulded with the black polistyrene.

Ah! Maybe Mike means he's painted the attached parts gloss black, although there appears to be evidence of paint on the fuselage too.
