Nice, another Slovakian Bf 109E! I like your choice Sergio.
Here's what I have about Bf 109E-4 "White 10"... Two appearances are documented for this aircraft - prior to the departure to the Eastern front in October 1942 aircraft had E-7 type of spinner (top profile for other details) and after the return to Slovakia in summer 1943 it had older E-4 type of spinner and doted engine cowling probably in RLM 76 (bottom profile). In both cases note the Letka 13 emblem on the engine cowling.
According to some historians "White 10" had W.Nr. 5244. Originally served with Stab/JG 52, Calais in 1941, then with 1. Erg.Gr./JG 52. On 26th June 1941 damaged at Elbing. Subsequently repaired and delivered to Slovakia in 1942. Service with Slovak Air Arms in 1942-1944. On 27th October 1942 departured to the Eastern front with first front team of Letka 13. Returned to Slovakia on 17th July 1943. Flown by many Slovakian pilots, including Julius Trnka commanding officer of Flight School and František Hanovec one of the most experienced Slovak pilots and 7 victory ace. During the National Uprising this aircraft was used by the insurgents and destroyed on ground during an Luftwaffe air raid on 31st August 1944.
