I remember a friend's two year old and a balsa wood trainer I was struggling with. Fire wood in a matter of seconds. Good job on the repairs Parsifal.

She is looking great Michael and I think your replacement wheel will arrive in time, usually takes 10 to 14 days from the US.

well a quick update and some photos at last. have just about completed the model, but am still waiting for the replacement tailwheel. Frustratingly also a i was taking these photos, the main door glass panel fell out. I will now have to remove the door to put the glazing back in. I mustnt have glued it in properly....d*mn. I think i can fix it relatively easily, but it means i have to remove the lower door guide. ill need to be pretty careful, but i dont have much choice.....

The repairs for the hatchway window went well......


Have also re-attached the tail fin to straighten it up and the main rotor, for the same reason. The model is better for those repairs.....


Just waiting and praying the tail wheel will arrive in time now.....I am led to understand the current competition doesnt end until the weekend following the end of the month.....does that give until the weeken after the one coming up??? I hope so...
