Daniel, Terry was trying an old joke that used to get played on kids on their first day at work.

they would be told go and ask the foreman for a "long stand" and he'd then leave them "standing" there untill they twigged to what was going on !

No good Jan, you'd have to be able to paint with both hands then to make the most of the brush!

Jan you could always try my sisters method of dipping her hands in paint and throw it onto the required surface -although this doesn't work if your using enamel I myself tried it once.......a week later I was still picking paint off
