Maaaan.....some are never satisfied! Top two are G-2, next two, late G-2's, followed by two early G-5's. Then there are two later G-5's and two G-6AS and a G-8.

Thanks Jan! So, apart from variations WITHIN the model number, eg AS types, and the deeper oil cooler bath, and the gun blisters, (roads, sanitation, schools!), there are only subtle differences externally, unless I'm getting confused! I've got a series of line drawings from 109D to K, but not all of the models within the series, so this helps. It's just that the captions to many photos in books can be very misleading, as we all know!
From Emil to Gustav 6 I don't have a problem, but the later war period has never been my strong point, so thanks again; now all I have to do is figure out how to save the drawings, without saving half the web-site!

Top drawings....G-2, G-2 late, G-5, G-5 late, G-6A/S, G-6U/2, G-6R/2, G-6U/4, G-8, G-10 in the 130000 series top and bottom, G-10R/2 in the 770000 series, G-10U/4 in the 610300 series top and bottom, G-14 late, G-14 #43, G-14 A/S, G-14A/S late and top and bottom K-4....

wow data overload......!!!!!!

cheers guys i'll study all the drawings and pics you've all posted and may attempt a couple of changes to the basic kit, depends on how brave i'm feeling when it finaly gets here

well the kit has arrived, it looks O.K not as detailed as i was expecting though !
to recap i intend to base this build on profiles of blue 7 12/JG27 supplied by wayne and wurger which i've reposted below.
