I think there is another shot that may show the nose will check tonight to see if spinner is plain or has spiral.....

cheers guy's i ask about the spinner because the decals provide a black spiral for the spinner but it is obviosly painted black !
the kit is going together very nicely and the fit is excellent !!
oh well back to work so no building for a week

i like 1/48, much easier and less fiddley than 1/72 i'm thinking of giving up doing 1/72 models for a while

Be a man. Stick with 1/72nd. It's the only size that you can pull out your kids Matchbox cars and make "vroom"ing noises while maintaining proper scale.

all the major painting is done, panel lines and a bit of weathering to do next.

question i have is the armor plate behind the pilots head was it metal plate or glass in a metal frame ?
