and stage 2 in the afternoon...

The Neutral grey lower surface and over the top too followed by the Olive Drab on the upper surface....the OD took 3 hours to apply in my usual pattern...

still got the darker strip along the edge of the white stripes to do yet....more masking and painting...maybe tomorrow....got a few things to do....besides modelling.

Thanks Guys!

Ok more done today...masked the borders of the white stripes and used Darker Green and Grey to simulate the Dark taped border, when I took the tape off wasn't happy, didn't give me the desired affect I was looking for so will go to plan 'B' to solve this.

Removed the masks from the Ailerons, elevators and Rudder. The lighter Grey on the lower surfaces I was happy with, the upper surfaces were too light, but this is not a problem as this was easy to fix...a thinned Olive drab misting of the main upper surface colour took this to the desired contrast from the OD upper surface, also darkened the trim tabs on the elevators and rudder...

finally removed the white stripe masks....well on the way to getting done now but not by the deadline...

Beautiful Wayne!
Thanks Guys....Mmm...the pictures loaded in correct order...but didn't display in the right order??
That happened to me too. I found you have to hit download after picking each picture to get them to display in the right order. Major pain in the a$$!! I hope they get it straightened out.

Out of order or not, it still looks bl**dy good mate! Do you need a couple of days extension to the build? It's a 'short' month, so sure we can extend for those who need it?

I will need at least the next 2 weekends plus time in between to finish....started on the panel line work today will take the rest of the week to do this right, so gloss coat by the weekend want some decals on by Monday next week or before!
