Can I knock myself down to beginner for this one? I think I thought I was better than I actually am. I've just noticed lately with a lot of techniques I frankly have no idea what I'm doing.

Painting's done, and I've begun decaling. I don't know if the decals I bought were old, but I've had a lot of problems with breaking. We'll see how thing go tomorrow as I continue.

Give the decal sheet(s) a coat of clear varnish, and let it set, before using any more Cory. That should hopefully prevent them breaking up or splitting.
