Thanks gentlemen. I guess if there are no objections to the drop tank style then it will stay. More fiddly bits added on the way to a completion in the near future.

Prop stuck on, MG's painted and installed and cowl intake openings painted black.

Chipping at the wing roots - primer red on the wood fairings and silver pencil on the wing surfaces.

Nav light lenses done. Gloss red mixed with a some gloss black. Repeated with green on the other side.

The kit DF loop was chucked and replaced with one made of wine bottle foil.

I used the kit Morane antenna but thinned it a bit and replaced the moulded conductor with solder.

Oily grime added to the bottom.

Outer gear doors installed and hinge/striker plate details added.

Thanks again for visiting.

Thanks again. Another distinguishing feature of the 109K was the addition of wheels down indicators and so I added these tiny things using stretched sprue. I made the assumption that they are red.

Antenna wires added using nylon invisible mending thread.

A few more items to tick off the punch list and this one will be finished.

Thanks for the thumb Wayne. The last thing to do was to add the resin pitot tube, run some NATO Black along the aerial wire and spritz some exhaust stains along the wing roots. And with that, I'm calling it done. Thanks to all who followed along and provided support. On to the zombies!
