An old proverb states, that he who has the patience to sit for many hours at the bench, will eventually be rewarded, But it is better to go to the pub and try again the next day, in case the patience runs out !!!

But I bring the pub to the bench, the kit keeps looking better all the time, well till the next day anyway.
 
The aft lower fuselage doesn't want to stay together so I slid a piece of sheet plastic in and glued the @&;$ out of it and clamping it, we'll see how that works. As for patience, my wife says indeed to have, I look at my degree on the wall and explain I'm not a Doctor and don't need any!
 
And now for the really fun stuff.

Black Mr. Surfacer 1500 rattle can. Lets find all the blemishes. Wing mate was a really fun (NOT) thing. should have had some spacers in the wing....

For those IP pieces, I have used my punch set, punch them, soak them and sol them in place. A drop of clear for the glass!
I think you are winning this fight!
 
Moving right along......

Started the painting and using the Hataka paints I first shot the OD green, found issues and fixed them and repainted, you know rinse and repeat.....

I then did the NG bottom.

Engines shot Vallejo Metal Coolers dull aluminum and did a panel wash with Tamiya black front gearing housing was painted grey....
