Detail painting done on cockpit insert. Waiting for clear coat to dry so I can progress further. Progress may stop once the Canucks start at 7:00 but will probably proceed at 7:20

'Red Wings'; could appear orange in the right light. Be wary if this evenings confluances. Put the brush down! Unless the Chanuks beat the tar out of them, then continue on!
Got a pic that shows full covers so imma takin' the easy way. For two days I've been staring at this nub on the left side, trying to figure out what attaches to it. Nothing in the instructions or on the sprue trees.
I'm about to cut it off but first I'll test fit the cockpit tub to see if its an alignment point or if it gets in the way. I place the tub and then it dawns on me, its the throttle. Brilliant but awkward to paint
Possibly the last chance you'll see the I.P.. As soon as the upper dials hit the part they stuck fast and I couldn't budge them. I even submerged the part in warm water but they held fast. The rest of the dials I cut out individually and may be the way I go now. Note the canopy crank sets on a nub in the same location as the nub on the left which I why I couldn't figure it out at first. Slowly gluing up the fuselage halves now
