It has been a few days and many thanks gents for being so kind. Time has been spent fiddling i.e. weathering, sorting bits gone wrong and generally not getting anywhere that is obviously seen until today when I seemed to forge ahead.

As you can see, it floats...........................well the floats are on.

Fitting the open canopy parts was a proverbial pain in the a$$. Nothing seemed to fit and was not a good fit. I have a 1/32 to build so I'm thinking of the single closed canopy for that one.

The floats meet dolly.................................dolly now needs painting and mucking!

We are sitting on the dolly.................................."ups a daisy"...........................we fell off.................but the torpedo stayed where it should.

Try a bit of water staining next.
