So here are the actuator covers, replaced, now shaped for the starboard side.
Starboard flaps in place and shaped, port side to the left showing the blocks of styrene.

A note I'm sure you know that Bill but there were covers of the slots between the wing trailing edges and the flaps while being retracted. When the flaps were lowered down the covers were moved inside the gaps toward the trailing edge.
Thinking about those Gap Seals.
In the late 80's I used to ground crew a couple of parachute teams.
One of the planes they used most often at air shows and drop ins was a twin, Baron.
They owner of the plane used his "drop" money to improve his planes performance.
One of them were Flap Gap Seals!!!! Go figure they were used on WW2 aircraft.
He was happy as a clam with the improvement in handling. Improves air flow under the wing!?
Here a couple of shots showing the gap and covers moved while flaps being lowered down. The small hinges can be noticed. And the outer flap retracted with the gap closed with the cover.
Looks good, I think you're getting them looking correct. Always knew the Corsairs used tape but I thought it was on the upper forward fuselage, infront of the windshield. Who knew the used it on the bottom behind the wings. Lear something new all the time.
