Huth was a WW1 pilot. He was wounded in March 1918 resulting in the amputation of his right leg below the knee. He was Geschwaderkommodore of ZG 26 in the Battle of Britain.

American 1st Lieutenant Thomas D. Teel was from Opp, Alabama.
On August 29, 1944, he was the pilot of P-47 "Grace," tail # 42-25524, of the 356th Fighter Group, 360th Fighter Squadron, when it was downed over Vitry-en-Artois, France. He was reportedly killed by German aircraft who strafed him while he was parachuting toward the ground. He is buried in the US Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, France MACR 8231.

Lt. Harry 'Fritz' Rideout
Killed in Action (KIA) 9 September 1944 in AC #4225861. Lt. Rideout was strafing a train with his squadron when they were attacked by F. W. 190's. He was hit and started home with two F. W. 190's chasing him. Last contacted when he said they were attacking him again.
