Whatever happened to this thread? I am building Ernst Schroeders Fw190 at this moment and I am realy curious what you made of it!

It's still pretty much the same as the last photo showed. Hopefully this winter I will work on it again. I travel quite a bit.

I think alot of people will agree though , Chris proved you didn't need one on his 210 8)

Hmm. Although an airbrush is certainly a huge advantage for Luftwaffe mottle schemes, it's not essential. This FW190D-9 in 1/48th scale, was mostly brush painted, including the mottle.
