I believe that the Bell 47G-2 was transferred to the AFM in the early 1970s from West Germany and was indeed the first aircraft to be operated by the service.

The Jeep has the British, (European) early war "Micky Mouse Ears" camouflage pattern, although this style could still be seen on some vehicles much later in the war.

Not directly, but both the Universal Carrier and the Vickers light tank series had their genesis in the Carden Loyd tankette family
