I've churned out another one, here's my latest offering, a JU-87D from Hasegawa. This kit is probably the most modern one I've made (I didn't have to brush dust off of it :D ).
I wanted to do something a bit different from the normal green and black one that most people do.
So I opted for S7+KS which was the aircraft of Oberstleutnant Walter Siegel, Geschwaderkommodore of Stukageswader 3 at Derna, Libya in June 1942. It's markings indicate 8./StG
Hope you like it.

Beautiful work Gary

have you ever followed up about the background of the pilot and his Bordfünker(s) during the war ?

No, I built it based on a piece of artwork taken from a book, that's about all the research I did on it. I'm churning stuff out to improve on different aspects of my modelling. So far I've done tanks, planes, sci-fi, and a couple of large figures. I'm still working out my niches, but I like aero modelling the best.
I've only been back in to modelling just over a year.
