Excellent photo diary of the pilots and crew on Iwo Jima. It boggles the mind to think of the logistics involved to keep that barren island stocked with all the food, supplies and especially water for troops stationed there. And that would just be to keep them healthy; supplying the fuel, ammunition, parts and other war equipment to keep those planes in the air must required a small army in itself.
My uncle will really dig this link.
