Hi, I'm Jim and I've just joined the forum. My father was a flight engineer and top turret gunner aboard a B-17 of the 731st Bomb Squadron, 451st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force, flying out of Deopham Green, England from November 1944 until after VE Day.
