Interesting approach David, never thought of attaching all the bits before main spray and then touching up to highlight the detail. it's looking good.

Thanks for the kind comments. These Academy kits are pretty good. The parts fit is excellent. Procrastinating over masking the canopy. Bloody fiddly job that.

Go on, get it masked. It's character building .... er ... yeah, character building .... honest .....
 
I was reading an article on masking canopies this week David and the guy recommends protecting the canopy with what these guys refer to as 'Future', but is called 'One Go', Pledge liquid floor polish. When it is dry (I give it a day) mask the canopy and give it another coat of 'One Go'. This helps to seal the edges and prevent under seeping of the paint. I say all this with tongue in cheek as I'm trying it for the first time on my two current GB builds.

@ Vic - Thanks for the tip. I have read a similair article. The old floor polish seems to have lots of uses. Might be worth a try.
