Major Jack Hodges died this morning as of yet unknown causes. I have known him for the past 19 years. And he was a character. His patriotism knew no bounds. He flew transports in the Air Force and holds a record for the most hours flown in on one particular transport, not sure which one. He flew in Vietnam and quite a few other skirmishes. You will have to forgive me fore I am going from memory here. I will miss him greatly. Blue skies and tail winds Jack.
Aaron, my most sincere condolences on the loss of your friend, a Vietnam brother-in-arms. I share your loss as all my childhood friends and fellow Vietnam vets are also gone as well
Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine,
et lux perpetua luceat ei .
Requiescat in pace.
