The "Bat", it was built to test a jet powered bomb of some sort IIRC. I think there is a surviving one somewhere out in California or the NASM.

LARGE SCALE Aircraft 1/32 and above Open Class.

First up the Winner of the class Hasegawa Fw190D-9 this was a fantastic build with lots of detail included, most not really seen !!

That's the first thing I spotted ! They detracted from the overall display I thought - would have been ok if the 'grass' coverd the whole base, but they are too much of a 'feature' in the abstract impression of the ground.
 
Nice one ninety, talking of mushrooms reminds me of the weekend I raced in my car round the airfield collecting mushrooms, my competitor was a Wessex rescue helicopter spotting them from the air and landing to gather the crop...................

It's a beaut model.
Vic, only the 'Crabs' would think of using a chopper for mushroom gathering ! Good practice for the ASR crews though, I suppose !
