First up the Winner of the class Hasegawa Fw190D-9 this was a fantastic build with lots of detail included, most not really seen !!

Oh, they are right Matt, they are correctly moulded Resin replacements...actually made by the modeller himself, he sells them under the label "Wedgetail"

believe me this Guy is Anal about accuracy!

Gees, I didn't even notice them.

That's the first thing I spotted ! They detracted from the overall display I thought - would have been ok if the 'grass' coverd the whole base, but they are too much of a 'feature' in the abstract impression of the ground.

Really. They look like they are a bit "rotund" in the chord section..

Nice one ninety, talking of mushrooms reminds me of the weekend I raced in my car round the airfield collecting mushrooms, my competitor was a Wessex rescue helicopter spotting them from the air and landing to gather the crop...................

Vic, only the 'Crabs' would think of using a chopper for mushroom gathering ! Good practice for the ASR crews though, I suppose !
