Nice, and I agree with David. Whoever dreamed up the idea of welding two P51s together should have had his ar*e kicked - might have done the job it was designed for, but spoiling the look of such a nice kite - sacrilege !

Yeah another new modeller, so cut them some slack.

Llooks like the ole Monogram 1/72 kit from the late 1970s. Built for long-range bomber escort, she actually was decently successful at the beginning of the Korean war intercepting Yak-9s and Il-2s attacking Kimpo airport. Pretty much phased out in that war afterwards, if I recall correctly. Packed quite a punch with eight .50cal BMGs mounted centerline.

Doesn't look anymore silly than some of the German Zwilling (sp?) ideas with Bf-109s and such. And frankly much more operationally successful.

Oh Gawd! Look what you've done ! Jan will be drooling now !!
Different, I'll admit. Last time I saw something like that was on a mate's camouflaged vehicle - he'd used a similar 'pattern' in green and black !

I did the same thing, Wayne. Didn't get it at first. If the modeller had them closer and more of them, I probably would never have noticed at all unless pointed out.
