Quite nice. Looks like a relatively small scale, making the cockpit area look wide, very common on P51D kits.

Looking at it I got the same impression about cockpit being too wide. Nice model though.

Nice stuff, I particularly like the Mossie with the very subtle oil stains on the upper wing.

I think maybe the anti-glare panel coming to a point gives the impression that the cockpit is larger?

No, it shows in the shape of the canopy and windscreen too. It's been a common 'fault' on a number of kits over the years, in all scales, where this area is either too wide or too narrow. It's improved in recent years, particularly in 1/48th scale. Strange it happens with the 'D' but seems fine with the B/C.
